How Does It Work?
It all starts with an image, after processing through enhancement, extraction,
noise reduction, and applied Gaussian filters, the image is entered into the
image morphology operation, by increasing the radius disk, the range of
teeth is disclosed, and measurement is conducted with extreme accuracy.
Measurement and extraction from the image will be done through top-hattransform.
After improving the image for the canal length estimate, we use
the Canny filter to have edge detection on the filtered image. The length of
the root canal is calculated by considering the details extract from last two
steps and from the grayscale image obtained from image threshold analysis.
